We’re looking for an driven and energetic Customer Success Associate who enjoys building strong customer relationships and help grow our DACH region. Making the global food supply chain more sustainable is one of the biggest challenges of our time. Simvia is a fast-growing software company in Amsterdam, on a mission to make food and beverage supply chains safe and sustainable. We give buyers and producers clear insight into their sustainability and food safety requirements, so they can meet market standards simply and efficiently.
About the role
As Customer Success Associate – DACH, you'll join a seven-person Customer Success team and work closely with experienced Customer Success Managers, our onboarding team, and support. From day one you'll help DACH customers get real value from the Simvia platform. Over your first months you'll take on more independence, until you confidently own your portfolio end to end.

Your responsibilities
Own your portfolio. Take full ownership of around 50 small and medium-sized DACH customers, and be their trusted, strategic point of contact from onboarding through renewal.
Run onboarding. Guide new customers through a structured onboarding, and together with our onboarding specialist help them become confident, active users of the core features.
Manage renewals. Own the renewal process for your portfolio, lead renewal conversations, and take clear responsibility for retention. This is one of the most important parts of the role.
Be the strategic partner, not the help desk. Provide strategic guidance that helps customers reach their goals. Day-to-day, how-to questions are handled by our support team, so you can focus on the bigger picture.
Stay ahead of risk. Monitor customer health, spot churn risks early, and act before they become problems.
Support expansion. Work with Sales to identify and support upsell and cross-sell opportunities where they genuinely help the customer.
Be the voice of the DACH customer. Collect structured feedback and share it with Product, Support, and the wider team to keep improving the customer experience.
Improve how we work. Contribute ideas to sharpen our onboarding materials, internal processes, and customer communication.
What we're looking for
0–2 years in a customer-facing role such as Customer Success, Account Management, Support, or hospitality. Internships count, and candidates from non-SaaS backgrounds are welcome.
German (native or fluent) and strong English. Fluency in French or Italian is a strong plus.
A genuine self-starter: curious, organised, and comfortable owning your work in a fast-moving scale-up.
Confident managing a large number of accounts with different needs and priorities.
Tech-savvy and eager to learn new tools. Experience with B2B SaaS, or with tools like HubSpot and AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT), is a plus, not a requirement.
